Tim Harvey

Chief Executive Officer

Tim Harvey brings a rich history of experience in the software and managed services industry to Perimeter E-Security. He most recently served as CEO & President of XAware, a leading provider commercial open source data integration software and services. Tim joined XAware from S1 Corporation (NASDAQ: SONE), a global provider of enterprise software and managed services to the financial services industry where as the Senior Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Product Management he had responsibility for all customer facing operations.

Prior to S1, Harvey spent six years with SynQuest, a Warburg Pincus funded supplier of Supply Chain management solutions. As President and COO, he helped manage the company's significant growth leading to an IPO in August, 2000 and subsequent merger. Additional experience includes executive and sales management roles with Datalogix (acquired by Oracle 1996) and MSA.

Harvey graduated from the University of Florida with a BSBA in Finance and served four years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Richard Dobrow

President/Chief Operating Officer
CPA, CISA

As Chief Operating Officer of Perimeter, Mr. Dobrow is responsible for all security operations. Prior to Perimeter, Mr. Dobrow co-founded Guarded Networks, a managed security service provider for financial institutions. At Guarded Networks, Mr. Dobrow was responsible for the overall strategic direction and operational management of the company. Prior to Guarded Networks, Mr. Dobrow served as a Practice Leader for leading professional services companies such as Price Waterhouse and Andersen in their technology risk businesses. Over the past ten years, Mr. Dobrow has aided Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions of all sizes build secure network architectures, assess impact of security related events and help to develop corporate-wide information security frameworks. Mr. Dobrow is experienced in regulatory compliance requirements of financial institutions and has been involved in many cases of aiding financial institutions to meet their regulatory compliance requirements by working closely with FDIC, Federal Reserve Bank, OCC, OTS and NCUA examiners.

Andy Lazarus

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Lazarus is responsible for leading strategic growth initiatives and the corporate finance and accounting plans required to successfully execute those objectives. From 2002 to 2008, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Genesys Conferencing a leading international provider of unified communications delivered as a Software-as-a-Service. At Genesys, he integrated 14 acquisitions, strengthened its capital structure and directed significant investment in research and development activities. During his tenure at Genesys, a publicly traded company duly listed on Nasdaq and NYSE EuroNext, equity value grew by 300% prior to its sale. Prior to 2002, Mr. Lazarus was an investment banker focusing on emerging growth companies in the telecommunications and technologies services industry. Mr. Lazarus received his MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business, in 1993 and his BS from Babson College in 1987.

Andrew Jaquith

Chief Technology Officer

Andrew Jaquith brings 20 years of IT and information security experience to Perimeter, most recently as a senior analyst with Forrester Research. At Forrester, Andrew led team coverage for data, endpoint and mobile security topics. In his time at Forrester, he wrote 20 popular reports on data leak prevention, encryption, endpoint security, mobile security and vendor M&A. Notable recent reports include "Security in the Post-PC Era," "Apple's iPhone and iPad: Secure Enough for Business?" and "The Forrester Wave: Data Leak Prevention Suites." Andrew consulted with and assisted 300 enterprise and vendor customers annually with vendor selection, compliance, strategy and effective practices.

Prior to joining Forrester, he was program manager in Yankee Group's enabling technologies enterprise group, with coverage of client security, digital identity, and web application security. Before joining Yankee Group, he co-founded @stake, a security consulting pioneer, which Symantec acquired in 2004. Before @stake, he held project manager and business analyst positions at Cambridge Technology Partners and FedEx.

Andrew's security research has been featured in publications such as CIO, CSO, and the IEEE Journal of Security & Privacy. In addition, he is the co-developer of the Apache JSPWiki open source wiki software package, and the author of the 2007 Addison-Wesley Professional book "Security Metrics: Replacing Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt." The book has sold more than 10,000 copies and has been praised by reviewers as "one of the best written security books ever."

Andrew holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.

Randal Skipper

Executive Vice President of Global Sales

Randal Skipper is an industry veteran that brings over 20 years of successful sales leadership. He most recently served as VP of Sales at Messagelabs, a leading provider of SaaS based email security services. He was responsible for growing and establishing the Americas business that eventually lead to a $700 million acquisition by Symantec Corporation. Prior to MessageLabs, Skipper was VP of Sales for Marimba Inc., a company he joined as a startup and grew to a successful IPO in five years and sold to BMC. In addition, Mr. Skipper has been VP of Sales-US for Intelligent Interactions, a company acquired by 24 by 7, and has held various sales management positions for Oracle Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Baltimore.

John Viega

Executive Vice President - Products and Engineering

John is Executive Vice President of Products and Engineering at Perimeter E-Security. John has authored numerous books on security, including the recent “Myths of Security”, and the seminal “Building Secure Software”, which was the first book on application security.

Prior to Perimeter, John was at McAfee, where he was CTO and VP of Engineering for the Software-as-a-Service business unit. Before that, he was McAfee’s Chief Security Architect, where he worked on M+A and also owned McAfee’s core technologies, such as anti-virus and the SiteAdvisor product. John also founded Secure Software, raising a Series A from Charles River Ventures. The company was later acquired by Fortify, where John is still an advisor.

John is an editor for IEEE Security and Privacy magazine, and his technical work in cryptography has been standardized by NIST, the IEEE and IETF. He has a MS in Computer Science and a BA from the University of Virginia.
