Perimeter offers an added level of user authentication for VPN clients, which is introduced through the use of secure Identity Tokens. Secure Identity Token adds a third form of authentication in addition to the typical user name and password. Secure Identity Tokens are as simple to use as entering a password, but much more secure. Each end user is assigned a token identity from the authenticator which generates a new, unpredictable code every 30 seconds. The user enters this random number to log into protected resources. The result is a simple-to-use, 3-factor authentication process to gain access to the bank's internal network and ensure that only authorized users are allowed entry to your network.
